Making Memories

During our recent trip, we were up early to get activity done before the temperature climbed. We are attempting to continue that routine by enjoying the sunrise every morning on the golf course. A beautiful way to start the day.

Activity/memory this week
Hale Theater. The 350-seat theater-in-the-round presents many entertaining plays and music shows through the year at a reasonable ticket price. We were there with friends Scott and Nancy for opening night of “Lucky Stiff.”  It’s a hilarious musical comedy with a surprise ending. Plus the downtown area has numerous restaurants to extend the evening as long as you want. The sleepy town of Gilbert has a nightlife!

Not close enough to attend Hale Theater? Check out plays in your area. Live theater is back and it feels good to be a part of it. We have been to Hale Theater several times over the years. It has always been packed, or with maybe a handful of seats empty. This was the first time where maybe there were 50 seats empty. Support the arts and enjoy an evening out. Go see a play.

Papa and I are planning more fun places to see and things to do in the weeks and months ahead. Check back every Sunday. Hopefully you find a fun idea!
