Superbloom

Spring has sprung. It has been such a cold, rainy winter. We have experienced more frost delays, witnessed more snow events, and snow at lower elevation, than in the previous 20 years. Thankfully, warmer temperatures are here resulting in a widespread “superbloom.”  The poppies are popping. Lupine. Fairy dusters. The desert is beautiful.

After a recent hike, we witnessed the beautiful floral coverage along the roadway, and spotted a few of the Salt River wild horses in the distance. Just a short drive yet an uplifting plunge into the beauty of nature.
