Finished

We understand about 30,000 people started the P.F. Chang Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, January 16 and we know not everyone finished.  The official number of finishers is listed at 19,298 half marathon and 5,062 marathon.

Towards the end of the half marathon, we saw people falling off. We felt the pain and want to stop ourselves during the last couple miles but willed each other to make it to the finish line. Our goal was just to finish under the required 4 hour time limit this year. We accomplished that.

The remainder of Sunday was pretty uneventful as we rested and massaged the sore muscles. Monday we felt more relief and started talking about doing it again next year. We know for next year we have to seriously train in order to better our time and lessen our soreness.
