Relaxing Day

Turkeys! No not a golfing term. We saw actual turkeys on several holes of our sixth golf spot: Odana Hills. It was another beautiful green course filled with tall trees, flowering plants and large water hazards. It was challenging yet enjoyable. Weather was perfect with temperatures in the 70s, relatively low humidity and a nice breeze.

After golf we toured downtown Madison near the university. Lake was beautiful. University golf course is definitely on our bucket list for a future visit.

For the third night in a row, we had free live music, this time just outside Madison. Thanks to our generous hosts, Gary and Peggy, we had a filling picnic while listening to the music.

It was a great week in Michigan and Wisconsin. One more stop and then onto Iowa.
